Zip Front Jacket: Moodboard Collage Print

Our classic zip front jacket cut in a 12 oz. cotton canvas. Custom printed with the moodboard that birthed this whole collection. So much of the reference material that very loosely inspires a collection like this just sits with us, and while we're mostly ok with that, sometimes we want it to be seen in all it's self-referential glory. We like the idea that all of this gets condensed into an overall feeling that informs everything in the collection indirectly, and we also like the idea of making a physical document, or in this case, garment, out of the reference material that's meant to live in the background.

Unlike previous iterations of the zip front jacket, this one is insulated for added body and warmth. We used a lofty cotton batting to insulate, and the jacket is lined with a Japanese cotton-silk plaid shirting fabric. It's got a nice weight and it feels both sturdy and luxurious. We managed to use all natural fibers for an insulated jacket, which is a hard thing to find these days. 

Two way Waldes vintage reproduction zipper, Corozo buttons at cuffs and back waistband, and corduroy collar.
