Zip Front Jacket: Waxed Cotton, Bone

Our classic zip front jacket cut in a 6.5oz waxed cotton. We've wanted to make this jacket for quite a while, but it took a couple seasons of research to get it right.

Unlike previous iterations of the zip front jacket, this one is insulated for added body and warmth. We used a lofty cotton batting to insulate, and the jacket is lined with a cotton flannel shirting fabric. It's got a nice weight and it feels both sturdy and luxurious. We managed to use all natural fibers for an insulated jacket, which is a hard thing to find these days. 

Two way Waldes vintage reproduction zipper, Corozo buttons at cuffs and back waistband, and corduroy collar. 

To care for waxed cotton, spot clean as needed, and re-wax in areas where waxed coating wears thin. Natural crinkle lines and patina are part of the appeal of this fabric.
