Western Dress Shirt: Cream Silk Nep
Details
New for FW26, the Western Dress shirt is a slightly more tailored take on shirting than some of our other silhouettes, but it wears just as comfortably with a suit and tie as it does layered over a t-shirt and jeans.
This raw silk nep fabric is one of our all-time favorite textiles. We've used it for a lined jacket, pleated trousers, a different dress shirt, and even some tie samples. A nice shirt is definitely its highest calling, so we've decided to include this shirt as a core staple that we hope to have available every season, as long as we're able to buy the fabric. It has a beautiful drape and a pill-like texture that gives it a distinctly earthy elegance. The "nep" is a small natural knot or tuft of tangled silk fibers embedded within a spun yarn or fabric that was born from a weaving defect made intentional.
100% silk. River shell buttons. Single needle tailoring and french seam finishing on interior side and sleeve seams.
Made in New York.
